Ilorin, 6 January 2025 – The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has notified successful applicants for the 2024/2025 teaching positions to proceed with their documentation process. Those who received text message confirmations are expected to appear at the SUBEB Office in Ilorin starting today, Monday, 6 January 2025.

Kwara SUBEB Screening Requirements
Successful candidates are advised to come with all vital documents for verification and record-keeping. These documents include:
- A Medical Certificate of Fitness issued by a government medical officer.
- Two recent passport photographs.
- Original and photocopies of credentials, including a birth certificate or a declaration of age.
Kwara SUBEB Screening Terms and Conditions of Appointment
The appointment is provisional and subject to the following terms:
- Appointments will begin on the date candidates assume duty. A two-year probationary period is mandatory, after which confirmation depends on satisfactory performance and conduct.
- Appointees must serve in their respective local government areas for five years, with no transfers permitted during this period. A bond will be signed during the documentation exercise.
- Teachers are required to register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and provide evidence of registration within six months of their appointment.
- Either party may terminate the appointment by giving one or three months’ notice in writing or through payment of equivalent salaries in lieu of notice.
Appointees must submit a written acceptance letter for the offer within 30 days. The letter must include an undertaking to adhere to all rules and regulations guiding the appointment. Any falsification of documents will lead to disqualification.
