Applications for the College of Nursing at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, are now open for 2024/2025 academic session. The midwifery form is still on sale as well. Interested candidates are to visit the Teaching Hospital in Nnewi to purchase their form while it is still available.
NAUTH School of Nursing Form Admission Requirements 2024/2025
- Applicants must have a WAEC result or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 Credits in at least 5 subjects, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- West African Examination Council (WAEC), the National Examination Council (NECO), or NABTEB are accepted.
- Candidates can combine results from WAEC and NECO.
- NABTEB cannot be combined with others.
NAUTH School of Nursing Form Method of Application 2024/2025
The sale of forms is ongoing, and the cost is indicated on the 2024 announcement by the hospital management. Candidates must pay the specified amount to First Bank or any Nigerian bank using a generated Remitta number. Payments can also be made using a debit or credit card once the Remitta number is generated. After the payment, candidates should go to the College with the receipt/Remitta printout and collect the form from the staff in charge.
Candidates are to fill out the form and return it with three passport photographs attached to the original receipt, and include a photocopy of the receipt with their form.
The documents to attach with your application include:
- Photocopies of your original credentials
- Handwritten application addressed to the Principal, College of Nursing
- Four recent passport photographs
- Attach one passport photo to the original receipt of your application fee and make a photocopy
After shortlisting, there is an internally conducted written examination by the NAUTH School of Nursing, followed by an oral interview as the last stage of the selection process. The oral interview is carried out by the College Selection Committee, with the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee serving as the Chairman.

Successful students will be notified of when to resume their studies. Candidates should find the 2024 scheduled date on the notification form after the application.
