NDLEA Screening/Interview Date and Centre

The NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) invites candidates for screening/interview for different cadres. This invitation is for candidates who have passed the recent assessment test and have been shortlisted for screening/interview. Successful candidates are to visit the locations indicated in the respective batches under which their names appear.

If you recently applied for this federal job, this is an update for you to get ready for your screening and interview in 2024. The Agency takes this screening date and time seriously. You have to arrive early.

NDLEA Screening/Interview

The NDLEA invites candidates according to their cadres. If you passed the recent assessment test and have been shortlisted under any Cadre, your screening/interview locations are specified in the respective batches in which your name appears.

NDLEA Screening and Interview Date and Time

The NDLEA screening time is 8 am. The screening/interview date is from Monday to Friday.

All underlisted candidates must report for their screening/interview exercise. This interview/screening takes place in five designated centres across the country.

NDLEA Screening/Interview Centre

The screening/interview centres are:

  • Abuja: NDLEA Headquarters, No 6 Port Harcourt Crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11 Abuja, FCT
  • Jos: NDLEA Academy, Katton Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State
  • Kano: Kano State Command of NDLEA, Airport Road, Kano
  • Lagos: NDLEA Liaison Office, 4 Shaw Road, Ikoyi, Lagos
  • Port Harcourt: Rivers State Command of NDLEA, Artillery Junction, Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers

Before you come for your interview, make sure you check your name carefully against the batch you belong to. Also, take note of the date you are requested to attend the screening/interview. The NDLEA is very strict when it comes to screening dates and times. If you miss your date, that means an automatic disqualification.

Documents Required for NDLEA Interview

  • Original and photocopy of your credentials in a file, including all your relevant certificates (academic/statement of results, birth/declaration of age certificates, NYSC discharge/exemption certificates, certificate of state of origin, and professional certificates where necessary, etc).
  • 2 recent colour passport photographs without cap/hat
  • Duly completed copies of the referee/guarantors’ forms
  • Printed National Identification Card and Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • Certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital
  • Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (If any)
  • Writing materials such as pen, pencil, eraser, permanent marker, ruler, and a notebook

You will be disqualified if you fail to bring all these necessary documents with you to your interview/screening venue.

*Note

When coming for your screening/interview, you are to wear a pair of white round-neck vests (without any marks), navy blue shorts (without stripes), white canvas, and white socks.

Groups and Batches of Candidates for the screening/interview

NDLEA screening is divided into groups. Under each group, we have different batches.

Group 1: NDLEA National Headquarters Abuja Screening/Interview Centre (No 6 Port Harcourt Crescent Off Gimbiya Street Area 11, Garki Abuja).

Group 2: NDLEA Kano State Command Screening/Interview Centre (No 2 Aviation Quarters Airport Road, Kano). Candidates are to report for the screening/interview in the following order:

Group 3: Former NDLEA National Headquarters Ikoyi Lagos Screening/Interview Centre (No 4 Shaw [Onilegbale]) Ikoyi. Candidates are to report for interview in the following order:

Group 4: NDLEA Academy Katton Rikkos Jos Plateau State Screening/Interview Centre. Candidates are to report for screening/interview in the following order:

Group 5: NDLEA Rivers State Command Screening/Interview Centre (Defunct SDP Secretariat, Artillery Junction, Aba Road, Port Harcourt). Candidates are to report for the screening/interview in the following order:

The NDLEA will release the respective dates for each Group and Batch. You just have to make sure you know where yours falls under. Do note that shortlisted candidates who fail to report on the dates for their own interviews will be disqualified automatically.

The NDLEA has a high standard of discipline, and such is expected from all candidates at the venue. For example, if you are a candidate from another batch loitering around the interview centres on dates you are not scheduled or you violate instructions during the screening, you will be disqualified.
