Niger State College of Nursing Sciences has announced the release of the admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is to inform the general public that registration starts from 3rd January, 2024 to 3rd February 2024.
Available Programmes and Campuses
The college has commenced the sales of form for 2024/2025 into the following programmes:
Basic Nursing Programme, School of Nursing Bida.
Basic Midwifery Programme, School of Midwifery Minna
Basic Midwifery Programme, School of Midwifery Kontagora
Post Basic Nursing Programme, School of Nursing Bida
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the 2024 deadline.
Requirements for Admission
- 5 O’Level credits in not more than two sittings, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- Combinations of WAEC and NECO, WAEC and WAEC, or NECO and NECO are allowed.
- Post-Basic applicants must be registered nurses RN or registered midwives (RM).
Application Process
Interested candidates should visit the Niger State College of Nursing Sciences e-portal at https://nigerconursingsciences.edu.ng and click on Apply Now on the Menu. From the drop-down, the candidate can select either the School of Nursing Bida, School of Midwifery Kontagora, or School of Midwifery Minna (as the case may be), and apply for a preferred programme.
Application is not yet completed until payment is made. The applicant must complete the 2024 application fee payment via Remita – RRR. After successful application, the candidate should print out the Application Acknowledgement Slip for reference purpose and for the entrance exam.
Applicants are advised to bring along their original credentials and the screening/examination form to the scheduled screening exercise.
The portal for the 2024 academic session will open for registrations on the specified date on the admission form. The closing date for registration is indicated on the notification slip.

All candidates are required to visit their respective campuses for the screening exercise. Also, note that the application form availability is different for each of the programmes.
Once the Entrance Exam result is released, applicants are expected to check their exam score and admission status by visiting the e-portal and clicking on either Check Exam Score or Check Admission from the menu section.
Niger State College of Nursing Sciences has not authorised any agents for admissions in any of its Schools. Therefore, candidates who choose to engage with unauthorised agents do so at their own risk.
