Northwest College of Nursing Sciences (NOWECONS) Katsina has released the admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is a notification for all interested applicants who want to study at NOWECONS this session. Northwest College of Nursing Sciences is pleased to announce the 2024/2025 screening exercise for the School of Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery programmes.
Northwest College of Nursing Sciences Requirements for Admission 2024/2025
- Applicants must possess five credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two sittings in WAEC or NECO
- Combination of WAEC/WAEC, NECO/NECO, WAEC/NECO is acceptable
- NABTEB cannot be combined with WAEC, NECO or another NABTEB
- NABTEB must be in one sitting
Northwest College of Nursing Sciences Method of Application 2024/2025
Interested candidates should visit the NOWECONS Katsina admission application portal at https://application.nowecons.edu.ng, click on Apply from the menu, and complete the 2024 admission form. Applicants will be required to make a payment for the application fee during the registration. The amount is stated on the 2024 application form.
After registration, the applicant should click on Print Application to print it out. Qualified candidates will be required to write an entrance exam to be conducted by the College, and must come with the following:
- Originals of relevant credentials O’ level or A’ Level results
- Acknowledgment Slip printout
- Photocopies of all results presented will be submitted at the centre
- Photocopy of indigene letter
- Certificate of birth/declaration of age
Eligible candidates will be contacted via SMS on their phone for the 2024 date, time and venue of the entrance exam.

The portal for the 2024 academic session will open for registrations on the specified date on the admission form. The closing date for registration is indicated on the notification slip.
Candidates successful at the interview will be offered provisional admission into Basic General Nursing programme at Northwest College of Nursing Sciences, Katsina.
Prospective students should note that the College has not authorised any agents for admissions. Therefore, candidates who choose to engage with unauthorised agents do so at their own risk.
