Ogun State Girls TVET scholarship for 1000 girls 2024 in Ogun State Technical Colleges—Ogun. The Ogun State Government, in collaboration with the World Bank through the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP), has announced a scholarship program. This program is for 1,000 girls who want to attend technical colleges in Ogun State. The aim is to help girls gain skills and become financially independent. The scholarship will also encourage girls to compete with boys in fields like engineering.
Ogun State Girls TVET Scholarship Program 2024
The scholarship covers the cost of textbooks, equipment, and a stipend for three years. This support is meant to give the girls everything they need to succeed in their studies. The scholarship is available for girls who enroll in one of the eight government science and technical colleges in Ogun State.

Ogun State Girls TVET Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Ogun State TVET Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a girl
- Must be an indigene of Ogun State
- Must have either a Basic Education Certificate (BECE) or a Senior School Certificate (SSCE)
- Applicants must be studying one of the following eligible courses, including Agricultural mechanics, Blocklaying and concreting, Carpentry and joinery, Computer craft practice, Electrical installation and maint, Fabrication and welding. Furniture craft, Painting and decoration, Plumbing and pipe fitting, Printing craft, Footwear leather trade, Automechanic, and Mechanical craft

- Visit the Ogun State Education Revitalization Agenda (OGSERA) website at ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng/tvet
- Click on Create an Account
- Use your Learner’s Identification Number (LIN) for the registration process
- Register for your chosen trade and college for free on the OGSERA platform
The application period for this scholarship starts on August 5, 2024, and ends on August 30, 2024. Be sure to submit your application within this time frame.
