Admission for Post Basic Midwifery and Psychiatric Nursing 2024/2025 forms are on sale. The college announces the start of registration for candidates looking for admission into the Post Basic Midwifery and Psychiatric Nursing programmes for the 2024 academic year.

Akwa Ibom College of Post Basic Midwifery and Nursing Entry Requirements 2024/2025

  • Candidates must have five credits in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits should include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings
  • WAEC and NECO results can be combined
  • NABTEB results cannot be combined with other exam results

Akwa Ibom College of Post Basic Midwifery and Nursing Application Method 2024/2025

Interested candidates should visit the College of Nursing Sciences, Ikot Ekpene Campus from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, to obtain the application form. Registration date for 2024 is provided on the admission notification form. Note that the registration process is not online; candidates must come in person to the Ikot Ekpene Campus.

The registration time is from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Candidates are required to bring two photocopies of the following documents:

  • Professional Certificate (Registered Nurse – RN)
  • Educational Certificates (FSLC)
  • Testimonial from the last professional school attended
  • Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
  • Current Practising Licence
  • Change of Name document, if applicable
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Two recent coloured passport photographs

Applicants are also advised to check the notice boards at the College of Nursing campuses in Eket, Oron, Ituk Mbang, Anua, and Ikot Ekpene, as well as the Ministry of Health, Hospitals Management Board, and Local Government Service Commission in Uyo.
