Akwa Ibom State Schools of Nursing admission form for 2024 academic session is on sale. The Ministry of Health is pleased to announce the start of registration for candidates seeking admission into the Akwa Ibom State Schools of Nursing for the 2024 academic session. The Schools of Nursing are located in three places, including School of Nursing, Anua Uyo, School of Nursing, Eket, and School of Nursing, Ikot Ekpene.
Akwa Ibom State Schools of Nursing Entry Requirements 2024/2025
- Candidates must have WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics. These credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings
- WAEC and NECO results may be combined
- NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other exam results. Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply
Method of Application Method
Registration for 2024 begins on the date specified in the admission announcement posted at the Schools of Nursing. Registration is open from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm daily, excluding weekends and public holidays. The registration venue is the Nursing Services Directorate, located at the Ministry of Health Headquarters, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.

Candidates should bring the following documents for registration:
- Three recent coloured passport photographs
- Original and two photocopies of each of their Educational Certificates (FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, or NECO), Birth Certificate or Age Declaration, Certificate of Local Government of Origin, and Change of Name document (if applicable).
Entrance Examination
After successful registration, candidates will receive a scheduled date for the entrance examination. The date is 5 March, 2024. Venue is the School premises.

The registration is not online. Candidates should not engage with anyone outside the school venue who claims to be an agent of the school, as the Akwa Ibom State Schools of Nursing do not have agents.
