Bauchi State Government approves recruitment of basic education teachers 2024/2025 — Bauchi. The Bauchi State Government has given the go-ahead to recruit basic education teachers in all Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state. The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (BASUBEB) will oversee this recruitment exercise. The primary goal is to fill teaching positions in basic schools throughout Bauchi State.
Bauchi SUBEB Recruitment 2024
The Bauchi State Teacher’s Service Commission (TSC) has announced available teaching positions in basic schools. The recruitment process is set to last for two weeks. These positions are open to candidates who possess qualifications like the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A Ed).
Candidates who hold any of these qualifications and are interested in teaching at the basic school level are encouraged to apply through the Bauchi State primary school teachers’ recruitment portal.
After the BASUBEB screening, candidates can check if their names appear on the shortlist. Those who are shortlisted will be invited for a recruitment interview. At the interview, they must present both the original and photocopies of their documents and qualifications.
This recruitment is open to all 20 LGAs of Bauchi State. Various roles are available, including Headmaster, Education Officer, and Classroom Teacher.
The subjects for which teachers are needed include:

Bauchi SUBEB Recruitment Requirements 2024
- Hold a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Have at least five O’ Level credit passes, including Mathematics, English, and three other relevant subjects, in no more than two sittings
- Candidates with B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, BTech Ed, or B.A (Ed) are also eligible to apply
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Be willing to teach in any local government area within Bauchi State
How to Apply for Bauchi State SUBEB Recruitment 2024
All candidates will need to present both original and photocopies of the following at the application venue:
- Highest qualification result.
- NYSC Certificate/Exemption (For graduates only).
- An Indigene Certificate of the respective LGA.
- Two (2) passport photographs.
- Birth certificate.
- An attestation letter from the Ward Head confirming that the candidate is from that area and is willing to teach in the ward where they belong.
The venues for the application process will be the Local Education Authority (LEA) conference halls, except for Bauchi LGA, which will be held at the Teachers’ Service Commission, Bauchi.
The date and time will be announced and communicated to all Education Secretaries (ESs) accordingly. Interested candidates can obtain this information through Albarka and Community radios, LG secretariats, and LEAs. Candidates may also visit the Bauchi website at https://bauchistate.gov.ng.

Candidates found making payments in exchange for recruitment vacancies will be handed over to security agencies, and their applications will be disqualified.
