Enugu State bursary 2024/2025 academic session — Enugu. The Enugu State Government has announced the opening of applications for the Enugu State bursary for the 2024/2025 academic session. The Governor of Enugu State has given approval for the disbursement of this bursary to students who are residents of the state and facing financial difficulties. The purpose of this bursary is to provide financial support to Enugu State students who are enrolled in tertiary institutions within Nigeria. The bursary will cover academic expenses from the first year of study through to graduation.
Enugu State Bursary 2024/2025
This bursary qualifies students to receive an allowance for the 2024/2025 academic session from the Enugu State Government.
All students of Enugu State origin who are studying in any recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria are eligible to apply for this bursary for the 2024 academic year.
Enugu bursary is strictly for the 2024/2025 academic session and is open to students enrolled in private, state, or federally-owned tertiary institutions. The bursary funds will be distributed to Enugu State students attending various higher education institutions within or outside the State.

To be eligible for the Enugu State bursary for the 2024/2025 academic session, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have gained full-time admission into tertiary institutions
- Applicants must be bonafide indigenes of Enugu State by paternity
- Students from both within and outside Enugu State are eligible to apply
How to Apply for Enugu State Student Bursary 2024/2025
- First, collect a Bursary Application Voucher through the Board Office located at 28 Okpara Avenue, Enugu State
- Go to the official Enugu State student bursary registration portal at https://esselb.en.gov.ng/requirements/
- Click on Start Your Application
- Enter the Bursary Application Voucher Code
- Under the Category section, choose Bursary Allowance
- Log in and complete your application
The Enugu State scholarship board will verify all the information provided and monitor the application process to confirm the students’ enrollment before disbursing the funds. Applicants must attend a computer-based Bursary Award test conducted by the Scholarship Board. They will also need to present documents to verify their claims, including admission letters, school ID cards, letter from HOD on the departmental Letterhead stating current CGPA, Certificate of LGA origin, and recommendation letter from village head.

Enugu State Student Bursary Payments
The payment process for the Enugu State student bursary is currently ongoing. The Governor has directed that disbursements be made. All bursary payments will be directly deposited into the accounts of eligible students as approved by the Governor. This payment process will continue until all qualified students have received their bursary.
The government is committed to ensuring that all payments are made directly to students’ accounts for transparency. Any outstanding payments will be cleared once beneficiaries have updated and uploaded all relevant documents online.
