Lagos State Extends EOI Deadline for Power Plants

Lagos Extends Submission Deadline for Gas-Fired Power Plant Bids

The Lagos State Government has announced an extension for the submission of Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the establishment of Gas-Fired Independent Power Plants under the Clean Lagos Electricity Market initiative.

The new deadline for submitting EOI documents is now Friday, 29th November 2024, by 5:00 pm, extended from the earlier deadline of 22nd November 2024. The extension was necessitated by a network glitch on the government’s procurement platform.

Interested bidders are required to submit their EOI documents and pay the prescribed fee via the Lagos State Government’s e-procurement platform at lagosppa.gov.ng. No physical submissions will be accepted, as all applications must be made online.

For further inquiries or support, applicants are advised to visit the procurement platform or contact the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) or the Office of Public-Private Partnerships (OPPP) directly.

This initiative is part of the Lagos State Government’s efforts to establish a sustainable electricity market and improve access to cleaner energy sources.

Stakeholders are encouraged to take note of the revised deadline to avoid missing out on this opportunity.
