Enugu State scholarship 2024/2025 academic session — Enugu. Enugu state scholarship application is ongoing. The Enugu State scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open for interested students. This scholarship is managed by the Enugu State Scholarship Board and is specifically available to all students who are indigenes of Enugu State. Students must be currently enrolled in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Technology across Nigeria, or have recently graduated.

Enugu State Scholarship Requirements 2024/2025

To apply for the Enugu State Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic session, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be indigenes of Enugu State
  • The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Undergraduate students must submit their WAEC/NECO or equivalent result, JAMB admission letter or its equivalent, Certificate of Local Government Area (LGA) Origin, and a Recommendation letter from their village head
  • Postgraduate students must submit their first-degree result/certificate, admission letter from the postgraduate institution, Certificate of LGA Origin, and a Recommendation letter from their village head
  • Students studying within Enugu State or outside the state are eligible to apply
  • Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5, while postgraduate applicants must have a second-class upper division (2.1) in their first degree
  • Applicants must collect an application voucher through the Board Office at 28 Okpara Avenue, Enugu
  • All applicants are required to write a computer-based test organized by the Scholarship Board

How to Apply for the Enugu State Scholarship 2024/2025

To apply for the Enugu State Scholarship, follow these steps:

  • First, visit the Board Office at 28 Okpara Avenue, Enugu State and obtain the Bursary Application Voucher
  • Go to the official Enugu State scholarship registration portal at https://esselb.en.gov.ng/requirements/
  • Click on Start Your Application on the portal
  • Enter the Bursary Application Voucher Code
  • Under the ‘Category’ section, choose whether you are applying as an undergraduate, postgraduate, or for any other relevant graduate scholarship
  • Log in and fill out the application form with all necessary details

Make sure that all your documents are scanned into one PDF file. The total size must NOT exceed 1 mb. If the file size exceeds 1 mb, your application will not be reviewed.

Once the Enugu State Scholarship Board receives and reviews your application, they will verify your enrollment status with your institution. If all the information is correct, your application will be approved, and the scholarship funds will be disbursed into your account.
