Admission into College of Nursing Sciences (CONS), Institute of Health Sciences Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH) Gombe.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Basic Nursing ND/HND programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is a 4-year uninterrupted programme: 2 years for ND and 2 years for HND.
Institute of Health Science Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe Admission Requirements 2024/2025
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must score 160 points or above (Institute of Health Science FHT Gombe cut off mark).
- Applicants must have five credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (in not more than 2 sittings). NABTEB results cannot be combined with WAEC or NECO.
- Must be 16 years or older by the time of application.
- Must be medically fit.

Candidates can obtain forms from the Office of the Registrar Institute of Health Sciences, Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (IHS-FTHG) or the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe admission application portal at https://fthgombe.gov.ng.
Candidates will be required to make a non-refundable payment (amount indicated on the form) through Remita into the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) account. Cash payments are not accepted.

Screening and Selection Interview 2024
The screening and selection interview will be held on the dates specified on the form and will last for three days.
Candidates must submit their completed forms with the following:
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Photocopies of all credentials: Including primary and secondary school certificates.
- Receipt of admission form purchase or Remita receipt.
- Local Government Indigene Certificate.
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- JAMB print-out.
- SSCE scratch card to verify results
