Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences (MCONS) has announced sale of forms for Post UTME screening into ND Nursing for the 2024/2025 academic session. This School is approved by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (MNCN). Applicants interested in Remedial Sciences are also invited to apply.
Entry Requirements
- All applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of application, except ND Nursing applicants who must be at least 17 years old
- ND Nursing and General Nursing candidates must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO) or GCE O’ Level with at least 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These must be obtained in no more than two sittings of the same examination body.
- NABTEB results must be obtained in one sitting.
- ND Nursing candidates must score at least 150 in the 2024 JAMB UTME examination.
- Remedial Sciences applicants must have at least two passes at credit level, including English Language and Mathematics, to qualify for admission.
Method of Application
Candidates who scored 150 and above and chose Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences are eligible to apply.
The application form is available online on the MCONS admission portal at www.admissions.mcons.edu.ng. Interested candidates should log onto the portal for their registration.
New applicants have to create a profile by clicking on the Create Profile button and entering the required information while returning applicants should simply use the login page to enter their email and password created during the initial registration.
You must pay a non-refundable application fee of twenty thousand nakra (N20,000) using your debit card or other payment options available on the application portal.
The sale of admission forms begins from 13th June and ends on 31st JULY, 2024.
MCONS Post UTME Examination
Date for the screening exercise (Computer Based Test and Oral Examination) shall be communicated to all applicants at a later date through applicants registered email or phone number. Only those who meet the required standards will be invited for screening.
General Nursing applicants will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the College’s CBT Centre.
Remedial applicants do not need to take the CBT. Qualified applicants will receive an admission letter.
