School of Psychiatric Nursing FNPH Barnawa Kaduna Form 2024/2025

The School of Psychiatric Nursing at Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, FNPH, Barnawa, Kaduna, is inviting applications for admission into the 18 months Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

FNPH Barnawa Entry Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a Registered Nurse.
  • Evidence of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Hold a current practising licence issued by the NMCN.
  • Possess five credits in O’ levels (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics.
  • A combination of WAEC and NECO is accepted. NABTEB is also accepted.
  • Any other qualifications in Nursing will be an added advantage.

Method of Application

Application forms can be obtained from the School of Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Kaduna.

The application fee is N10,000. This is a non-refundable fee payable through Remita in favour of Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.

The completed forms, along with photocopies of relevant credentials and two passport photographs (coloured on a white background), must be submitted to the school before the 2024 deadline indicated on the application form.

FNPH Barnawa Screening Process

There will be a pre-test and interview for all applicants. The date is specified on the application form.

  • Venue: School of Psychiatric Nursing, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.
  • Time: 9:00 am prompt.

Successful candidates will be required to start training for the 2024 session on the date provided after the test and interview.
