School Of Nursing, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Enugu has announced the sale of 2024/2025 admission forms. Applications are welcomed from qualified candidates for admission into the Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences, UNTH.
Admissions are also open for those interested in Post Basic Anaesthetic Nursing, Post Basic Cardiothoracic Nursing, Post Basic Midwifery, Post Basic Peri-Operative Nursing, and Post Basic Ophthalmic Nursing.
UNTH Entry Requirements
- Candidates must have five credits in WAEC and/or NECO in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These credits should be obtained at one or two sittings.
- Candidates must have also sat for UTME 2024 and scored a minimum of 150 marks (cut-off mark).
- UTME is not required for Basic Midwifery applicants.
- Applicant must be a registered Nurse (RN) with a current practicing license.
- Have at least one year post qualification experience.
UNTH Method of Application
Interested candidates should visit the UNTH College of Nursing portal at https://schools.unthportal.org/son and click on Apply Now. Select Application from the menu and click Apply to start.
The application portal will be open from 25th June and ends on the 9th September, 2024.
Candidates must make an online payment for the application fee of N20,000 (twenty thousand naira) only. Payment can be made using a debit card on the portal. After payment, print all the necessary slips.
If the payment PIN is not ready, follow these steps:
- Copy your application number.
- Go to Application and click on Reprint Application.
- Enter your application number and click Payment Verification to print your slip.
After completing the online registration, submit a copy of the application slip and photocopies of relevant documents to the UNTH College of Nursing for documentation. The processing of the form must be completed at the Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences, UNTH, Enugu.
Entrance Examination
Date: 10-14 September, 2024
Venue: College of Nursing, UN.T.H., Enugu.
The Post-UTME exam will be Computer Based Test.
Only candidates who meet the entry requirements and pass the exams will be considered for admission.
