Akwa Ibom student bursary and grant application 2024/2025 — Akwa Ibom. The Akwa Ibom State Government has opened the application portal for qualified students to apply for the 2024/2025 academic session bursary and intervention grant. This bursary is meant to support students financially during their studies. Students who meet the requirements can apply. Both students with and without disabilities are eligible to apply for this fund.
Akwa Ibom Bursary and Intervention Grant Application Requirements 2024/2025
To apply for the bursary successfully, you will need to provide the following:
- Applicants must submit their Student Registration Number
- Valid student ID card
- Admission letter
- Certificate of origin
- School fee receipt (must be receipts that can be independently validated, such as those with an RRR number if paid through Remita)
- A recent passport photograph
- NIN
- BVN
- Those applying for the AKSG Intervention Grant must have already registered with the Ministry of Education (only applies to students with disabilities)
How to Apply for Akwa Ibom Student Bursary and Intervention Grant 2024/2025
- Visit the Portal: Go to https://bursary.akwaibomstate.gov.ng/
- Click on New Application
- Click on Continue next to the bursary or grant you are applying for
- Complete the application form with your correct information to create an account on the portal
- Upload the necessary documents such as your student ID card, admission letter, certificate of origin, last school fee receipt, and a recent passport photograph
After applicants have successfully registered and uploaded the required documents, they will receive an SMS and email about their verification status.

Please note that students who were paid in the previous bursary period MUST register again for the 2024/2025 payments. After successful validation, students will receive an SMS and email confirming payment.
