MTN has just reopened the Top 10 UTME scholarship. The MTN Top 10 UTME scholarship 2024–2025 online application form is out. Interested students are invited to apply before the deadline. In 2010, the MTN Foundation established the MTN Scholarships Programme which reward high-performing students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions. The programme has three categories, including the MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship.
MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship 2024
The top 10 scoring candidates in the UTME, as announced by JAMB, automatically qualify for the MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship. These candidates receive scholarships from their 100 level through to graduation. Candidates must meet the required grade standards.
Starting in 2024, the annual award amount has increased from N200,000 to N300,000.
MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship Eligibility Requirements 2024
- The Top 10 UTME scholarship is awarded regardless of the candidates’ preferred course of study or tertiary institution, whether public or private, in Nigeria.
- It is open to the top 10 UTME students
- Applicants must be Nigerian students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education
MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship Application Process 2024
To apply for the MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Visit the MTN scholarship application form at https://apps.mtn.ng/scholarships/form
- Select the MTN Top 10 UTME Scholarship
- Fill out the form with your personal information and UTME score
- Submit your application
Remember that this scholarship is automatic. MTN will be notified by JAMB after the candidates’ UTME exams.

MTN will notify you of your application status via the email and phone number provided during registration. The award amount has increased to N300,000 and will be granted annually until graduation, as long as the grade requirements are met.
