Rivers State College of Health Science Technology (RIVCOHSMAT) Oro-Owo, Rumueme Port Harcourt admission for 2024/2025 academic session is ongoing into Basic Studies Programme and Post UTME (ND). Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the College. Admission commences on 27 March, 2024 while the deadline is 9th June, 2024.

| Dental Therapy (HND) – 2 years | National Diploma in Dental Therapy, five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, and indexing by the Dental Therapy Registration Board of Nigeria. |
| Health Information Management (Professional Diploma) – 3 years | Five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and one other subject (e.g., Commerce, Economics, Government, Agricultural Science) at not more than two sittings. |
| Health Information Management/Health Records (Abridgement) – 1 year | National Certificate in Information Management (NCIM) and fulfillment of Health Information Management entry requirements. |
| Hospital/Health Administration (Diploma) – 2 years | Five (5) O’ Level credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including Mathematics, English, Economics, Commerce, Government, and Biology/Health Science at not more than two sittings. |
| Medical Laboratory Technician (Certificate) – 3 years | Five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including Biology, Chemistry, English, Physics, and Mathematics, obtained within 10 years of enrollment, or NABTEB certificate. |
| Medical Laboratory Technician (Abridgment) – 2 years | Holders of Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate in addition to the standard entry requirements. |
| Public Health Nursing (HND) – 2 years | Five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, plus Nigerian Registered Nurse, Midwifery or Psychiatric Nurse Certificate with 1 year post-qualification experience. |
| Public Health (Diploma) – 2 years | Five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Health Education. |
| Orthopaedic Cast Technician (Diploma) – 2 years | Five (5) credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO including English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and two from Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography, Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition, Home Management. |
National Diploma Programme admission is through JAMB. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 2024.
RIVCOHSMAT Oro-Owo Method of Application
Interested applicants are to register online on the College’s portal at https://portal.rschst.edu.ng by clicking on Register Now for any preferred programme 2024/2025.
The applicant will have to select a preferred programme of study during the registration and proceed with the payment of the 2024 registration fee to complete the registration form. RIVCOHSMAT Oro-Owo application entry closes on 9th June, 2024.
Qualified applicants will be required to attend the 2024 Entrance Examination on August 2024. The date and venue will be made known to the candidate through SMS on their registered number. Candidates are to bring along the original/photocopy of their certificates to the screening venue to the College Main Campus.
